Welcome to ANT Neuro Educational Webinar Series!
The use of brain technology in practice, and its combined use with other technologies, needs careful attention. This webinar introduces the main issues related to the use of these technologies in practice. It discusses the multimodal and multidimensional framework of intervention in sport psychophysiology and neuroscience, the technical and the methodological issues related to its use, the neural processes involved in sport performance, as well as the use of these technologies during performance and the implementation of ecologically valid protocols. The presentation concludes with ethical considerations and remarks about the use of brain technologies in sport and exercise sciences.
Our presenter is Prof. Maurizio Bertollo, who received his bachelor’s degrees in Physical Education and Human Movement Science in Padova and Chieti (Italy) respectively, a master’s degree in Education (Pedagogy) in Padova, a master’s degree in Psychology in Ljubljana (Slovenia) and a doctoral degree in Sport Sciences in Vila Real (Portugal). He is Professor of Motor Behaviour at “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy, where he is the Rector’s delegate for international cooperation and partnership. Moreover, he is visiting professor of Human Performance at the University of Suffolk, UK. Currently he is also serving as Vice-President of the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC). Prof. Bertollo’s research area is Motor Behavior and Psychology of Sport and Exercise, with emphasis on performance optimization, stress-recovery balance in sport, psychophysiology and neuroscience in sport, biofeedback and neurofeedback in sports, bio-psycho-physiological states underpinning performance, and Individual Zone of Optimal functioning (IZOF model).
We're looking forward to welcoming you to this webinar!
