Introducing the waveguard™ net</a>\nThis webinar has ended. Stay tuned
for similar events on this topic! Welcome to ANT Neuro Educational Webinar
Series! Most EEG experiments are time-consuming and require a laborious m
anual setup prior to collecting data. This often results in less time dedi
cated to data analysis and publication. Through collaboration with clinici
ans and researchers\, ANT Neuro has developed a solution to help solve the
  experimental setup time bottleneck – waveguard™ net\, a saline-based
net cap. The participants of this webinar will be introduced to the techni
cal features and benefits of the saline-based waveguard™ net\, and also
hear from Prof. Surjo Soekadar from Charité hospital in Berlin and our CE
O Dr. Frank Zanow as they discuss the development process as well as the r
esulting clinical and research benefits of waveguard™ net. Prof. Surjo R
 . Soekadar\, MD\, studied medicine in Mainz\, Heidelberg and Baltimore\, a
nd worked as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist at the University of Tübi
ngen. He is Einstein Professor of Clinical Neurotechnology at the Charité
  - University Medicine Berlin\, working on the next-generation brain/neura
l-machine interfaces to restore human brain function. His research interes
ts include cortical plasticity in the context of brain-machine interface a
pplications\, non-invasive brain stimulation and neural mechanisms of lear
ning and memory. Dr. Frank Zanow received his Master’s degree in Electri
cal Engineering from the University of Ilmenau\, Germany. He completed his
PhD at the Department of Low-Temperature Physics of the University of Twe
nte (Enschede\, NL)\, focusing on bioelectromagnetism. This project led to
the application of advanced MRI-based head modeling techniques in the ana
lysis of EEG and MEG recordings. Dr. Zanow established various companies w
