Major Depressive Disorder</a>\nThis webinar has ended. You can watch the
recorded session here. Welcome to ANT Neuro Educational Webinar Series! In
this webinar\, we are happy to introduce TMS brain stimulation strategies
for optimized MDD treatment. Standard 10 Hz Repetitive Transcranial Magne
tic Stimulation (rTMS) is an effective treatment for Major Depressive Diso
rder (MDD) with response rates between 30-40%. We show that rTMS-induced c
hanges in functional brain connectivity can predict clinical outcome and t
hat the proximity of the individual alpha frequency to the stimulation fre
quency is associated with better clinical outcome. We will present a proce
dure developed for the interrogation of frequencies between 3 – 17 Hz to
identify the optimal stimulation frequency for MDD treatment. Individuali
zed brain stimulation is highly promising for increasing clinical response
rates. Biomarkers and early response predictors are critical in developin
g the appropriate stimulation strategy. The presenter is Dr. Juliana Corli
er who received her Ph.D in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Sorbonne Unive
rsities in Paris\, France. Dr. Corlier has completed her postdoctoral trai
ning at the UCLA Neuromodulation Division under the supervision of Dr. And
rew Leuchter. In her current work as an assistant project scientist\, she
oversees projects that combine neuronavigated TMS\, simultaneous EEG recor
dings and multimodal neuroimaging\, focusing on the development of biomark
ers and individualized stimulation approaches to TMS treatment. This sessi
on will be followed by a live demonstration of a navigated TMS setup by AN
T Neuro application specialist/ product management team. Looking forward t
