DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://academy.ant-neuro.com/event/advancements-and-c
 hallenges-in-eeg-source-imaging-30/register">Advancements and Challenges i
n EEG Source Imaging</a>\nThis webinar has ended. You can watch the record
ed session here. Welcome to ANT Neuro Educational Webinar Series! High-den
sity electroencephalographic (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG) system
s provide us with a powerful tool to study neuronal brain dynamics with hi
gh temporal and usable spatial resolution. By applying source analysis met
hods to scalp recordings\, neuronal activities in specific brain areas can
be reconstructed with milliseconds resolution enabling real-time imaging
of the temporal dynamics of whole-brain neuronal networks. In this webinar
\, the principles of EEG source imaging will be introduced and we are goin
g to discuss current advancements and challenges based on exemplary\, ongo
ing work of the Functional Brain Mapping Lab in Geneva. The presenter is D
 r. Martin Seeber who studied Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the
Graz University of Technology and received his PhD in 2017 from the Labora
tory of Brain-Computer Interfaces. Afterwards he joined the Functional Bra
in Mapping Lab of Christoph Michel at the University of Geneva. He current
ly is working as postdoctoral researcher focusing on EEG source imaging ba
sed analyses and research of spontaneous\, large-scale brain dynamics. The
registration deadline is 24:00 (CEST) on October 12th. Looking forward to
welcoming you to this webinar! Organization team ANT Neuro Education Depa
